Message from the President

Dear friends and colleagues,

I am humbled, honored and privileged to assume the role of President of ANMN (Association of Nepalis in Minnesota) 2017-2018. I am deeply grateful to all the past presidents and board members for their leadership and outstanding contributions to ANMN. I am inspired by their commitment to the Nepali Community and all of their achievements. Indeed, the growth of ANMN has been propelled collectively by the individuals and all the members of ANMN. I look forward to continuing this important work towards fulfilling the mission of ANMN.

Our young generation is our future. We will put special emphasis on nurturing their capabilities and creativity by having deeper involvement of our youth community. Our young generation is always welcome to join us as volunteers in various activities.

In our ongoing effort to strengthen our organization, we encourage you all to take this opportunity and join ANMN as lifetime members. We will be paying special attention to keep our membership database up to date with current information.

Our focus is to keep in touch with our community members regularly and understand their requirements and extend our assistance when required. We will also be focusing on fundraising one of the ANMN projects – MNCC (Minnesota Cultural Community Center.

A key ingredient to the success of any organization is a sense of togetherness. Please remember that this is our organization. You, me and everyone who is a part of ANMN have to continue to put in efforts to make this a better place for our next generation. Together we are strong. Let’s have the spirit of “our community, our ANMN”

Once again thank you all.

Best Regards,

Subas Silwal

ANMN President
