Youth Arts Instructor
ANMN is currently seeking a passionate and talented Youth Arts Instructor for our summer 2023 Youth Arts Camp. If you have a deep appreciation for the arts and a desire to inspire and empower young individuals through creative expression, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Jul 22 & 23, Aug 25th and 26th. (12P-2P)
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate arts curriculum for youth, fostering creativity and self-expression.
- Teach various art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, crafts, etc.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and supports the unique abilities and interests of each student.
- Plan and organize workshops, projects, and events to showcase students’ artwork and talents.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their artistic skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean art studio/classroom environment, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, keeping accurate records of attendance, projects, and assessments.
Qualifications
- Strong artistic skills and proficiency in one or more art forms (painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, crafts, performing arts, etc.).
- Prior experience working with youth, teaching, or instructing in an arts-related field.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and self-expression.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques suitable for different age groups.
- Flexibility to adapt lessons and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and execute art projects and events effectively.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks and maintaining student records.
- Current background check or willingness to undergo a background check, as required by the organization.
